Andrew Noblet is the latest trainer to confirm plans for a departure from Caulfield, revealing on Friday that he will move to Ballarat next year.

Noblet will migrate up the Western Highway in early 2020 and take up residence at a new facility being constructed by the Ballarat Turf Club.

Training is set to cease at Caulfield in 2023 under a lease agreement signed by the Melbourne Racing Club, the Caulfield Racecourse Reserve Trust and the Victorian Government.

Leading Caulfield trainers including Mick Price, John Sadler and Robert Hickmott are yet to confirm their future plans.
